Welcome to the Bio-Dome in Costa Rica

On April 4, 2024 one person will enter the Bio-Dome, and live sealed inside for 21 days.
What is a Bio-Dome?
An experimental material closed, information and energy open eco system in a bubble, or vessel or stationery spaceship.
In this Bio-Dome 100% of the air and 100% of the water will be recycled.
The Bio-Dome is big enough for the plants to produce enough oxygen for one person to live in.
Food Production
Food production is based on soil based agriculture (see reasons below) mixed with aquaculture. (Rice, Azolla ,Tilapia)
While you can grow all the greens and starches you need, fat and protein will be a problem. but with fully stacked fish tanks you should be able to travel far.
You can measure it
Since the Bio-Dome is a material closed structure in which nothing goes in or out, everything has to be recycled, and since the Bio-Dome is so small this recycling process will be 100dreds times faster than in Biosphere 1. Above see the correlation between light and CO2 up-take.
